Olesia Skolozdra-Shepitko was born on February 9, 1983 in Rozvadiv of the Mykolaiv district of the Lviv region.

She is a candidate of philological sciences, associate professor.

In 2005 O. Skolozdra-Shepitko graduated from the Faculty of Philology of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (specialization «Ukrainian language and literature»).

During 2005-2008 she studied at the postgraduate course at the Department of Ukrainian Language of Lviv University.

Since 2008 O. Skolozdra-Shepitko worked as an assistant at the Department of Ukrainian Language.

In 2009 she defended her PhD thesis on the topic «Onymic and appellative nomination of a person in Ivan Franko’s short prose».

Since 2015 she has been an associate professor at the Department of Ukrainian Language named after Professor Ivan Kovalyk.
