Nina STANKEVYCH was born in the Rivne region.

1974–1979 – studies at the Ivan Franko Lviv National University at the Faculty of Journalism.

1979–1993 – editor, head of the editorial and publishing department of the University.

1991 – defense of a candidate’s thesis in the specialty “Ukrainian language”.

1994–1996 – work at the Institute of the Slavic Language at the University of Wroclaw (Poland).

1994 – an assistant, 2001 – an associate professor of the Department of Ukrainian Applied Linguistics of the Faculty of Philology of Ivan Franko Lviv National University.
