Biography

Born on March 04, 1947 in Zarichchia Village, Ivano-Frankivsk region. Graduated from Ivan Franko Lviv State University in 1970. From 1970 to 1972 served in the army. Since 1972 till present time has been working in the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv as a lecturer, senior lecturer, associate professor, Dean of the Philology Faculty, Professor of the Ukrainian Literature Department, Professor of the Department of Theory of Literature and Comparative Literary Studies, Head of this Department.
